According to the plant behavior, all the portion of minerals that deep-rooted trees absorb from the soil gets diffused in these leaves; making it the perfect constituent to make the manure mineral rich. This compost also contains quantities of calcium; which is added through powdered egg shells, magnesium, nitrogen, and phosphorus. Some quantities of cattle manure and chicken manure are also added to the Khaad, to enhance the fertilizing traits.
Compost is a rich and earthy organic matter that plays an essential role in increasing the productivity of soil and the growing plant. It helps raise the soil fertility and diminishes the strain on the landfills. As it has a larger particle size, it also helps enhance the tilth and loosens compacted soil. Not only this manure retains moisture, it hinders pests and weeds that attack the crop.
In comparison to fertilizers, that are expensive and chemical based, compost is a safer and a useful option. Also, there is a lot of effort that goes in estimating the quantities of fertilizers that is apt for plants, wherein organic manure usage is flexible in any quantity.
