Planting instructions
Plant anemone bulbs about 2 inches (5 cm) deep in well-draining soil. Place them with the pointy end facing up. For container planting, use a pot that's at least 6-8 inches deep and plant bulbs 2 inches deep, just like in the ground.

Anemones are generally not too bothered by pests or diseases. Keep an eye out for aphids, snails, and slugs. Use organic pest control methods if needed.

how to harvest
Anemones usually bloom in spring. Harvest the flowers when they are fully open but still in the morning when they are freshest. Use sharp scissors or shears to cut the stems at an angle. Leave at least 6 inches of stem attached to the flower. Place the cut stems in a container of water as soon as possible to keep them fresh. Change the water in the vase every few days, and trim the stems a bit to help them take up water.
