Asters grow very well as a container plant in home gardens.
The maintenance of the flowers is also fairly easy post germination
Remember to thin out the plants by removing the dead blooms and keeping the plant healthy.
Also, do not worry about uneven germination since the resulting blooms will look great together.
The soil where you are planting Aster Pompon should be loamy and well drained. Optimum moisture in the soil is the basic requirement to have a conducive growing medium.
Grow the flower at a spot that receives plenty of sunlight throughout the day.
The ideal temperature to grow Aster Pompon Mixed is 21 to 23°C(70 to 75°F)
Ensure ample watering while planting the seeds and keep the soil moist while keeping a check on signs of wilting which indicates that the plant is not receiving enough water.
how to harvest
Asters work well as cut flowers and do not require much pruning to grow.
However, the flower bulb will ripen to a brown color and can give a unattractive look if not removed from the plant.
You can simply snip the flower from the stem with a pair of scissors or with hands.
