Named after the Livonian botanist Johann Friedrich Eschscholtz, this is a strikingly beautiful variety of California Poppies with bright pink & red flowers & dusky green foliage. Best used to cover large patches of soil, Carmine King can be a charming addition to your garden. They can grow in a wide range of soils but prefer well-drained soil for best results. It is one of the easiest variety of flowers to grow which can thrive with very little care. Sow these plants for cut flowers, flower beds, borders & containers. These flowers are very attractive for bees and butterflies. Owing to their low maintenance properties, these flowers can even tolerate drought & will grow best in poor soil.

Planting instructions

Considered a perennial in hot temperature & an annual in mild temperature zones, these flowers are best planted directly instead of transplanting.

Prepare the sowing bed well with a rake and sow the seeds at a minimum depth of ¼ inches.

Sow seeds or plant transplants in garden soil.

Large blooms can be maintained by removing the side shoots. Also Chrysanthemum tend to bend from the stems due to weight of the flower bulbs which can be avoided by staking the plants with a good support.
